Recent projects:
- By Appointment Only: Ally stars as Val Spencer, the lead, in this made-for-tv thriller about a single mother who is in real estate. She has also co-written the film.
- Tell Me You Love Me: this racy HBO ensemble drama series will premiere in September. The series centers on three couples who are having problems in their sexual lives. Ally will depict Katie, wife to Tim DeKay's character David. The first season will air ten episodes.
2006
Projects:
- The Shield, "Post-partum": Ally guest stars in the season finale of the series, as Toni Burke, a suburban housewife who'd been left by her husband and been persuaded to become a prostitute by a slick pimp.
- ER, "Body & Soul": Ally guest stars alongside James Woods as Fran Bevans, a caretaker to Woods' character who suffers from ALS.
- 50 Best Chick Flicks: she comments on films such as The Way We Were, While You Were Sleeping and My Best Friend's Wedding.
- Dirt premiere on Dec 9th
- Nip/Tuck 4th season premiere on Aug 25th
2005
Projects:
- Sleeper Cell, "Family" and "Youmud Din": Ally guest stars as Lynne Allen Emerson, the belittled mother of Blake Thomas' character Tommy.
- For Norman... Wherever You Are: the documentary on which Ally has been working for years is screened at local film festivals.
- The Emmy Awards on Sep 18th.
- Nip/Tuck 3rd season premiere on Sep 10th.
